Depending on the type and style of the celebration, Banish Misfortune can come in all shapes and sizes, from a modest but more than sufficient three piece to their full complement of seven musicians. The core band always features the fiddle, guitar and bass guitar, plus vocals. Add the traditional bodhrán drum, mandolin, flute, tin-whistles and even keyboard for the extended ensemble.
