Built during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I, Cain Manor is a traditional Tudor-style house. The name is derived from its original owner, Cane, who is believed to have been excommunicated from the Roman Catholic Church.
Since joining Harper Weddings in 2003, Cain Manor has hosted a vast number of truly spectacular barn-style weddings and events.
This triple-height barn room boasts cathedral-style windows, which let in gorgeous natural light and afford guests views over Cain Manor's gardens, and, further afield, Surrey's Golden Valley. For wedding breakfasts, the space can be quickly converted into a vast banqueting hall.

With its characteristically Elizabethan wooden beams and over-sized fireplace to lend the room light and ambience, the Library is a perfect second room to add to your celebrations and is adaptable for use as a dance space or just a space in which to relax.
Along with the bar and the Drawing Room, the increased space affords extra room for evening guests and added extras, such as photo booths or party games.

Couples are invited to come to Cain Manor for a menu tasting session in order to hand-pick the perfect banqueting menu and all dietary requirements can be accommodated.

We had the pleasure of entertaining our family and friends at Cain Manor on Saturday afternoon and evening after her marriage to Christopher. We just wished to share a couple of points with you.
First of all, we were conscious, through Jennifer, of how wonderfully supportive you and your team have been and how positive you have been towards their having the type of wedding they always hoped for. You were consistently constructive in working through all the little impediments which recent restrictions threw up. Nothing became a problem.
Second, the quality of your staff, both front of stalls and backstage, your facilities and your catering, and your management team, is simply outstanding. The service we received, the attention from staff who were there but not intrusive, made the evening. As for the food, all agreed, excellent. The table staff, (forgive me if that is not the correct terminology,) were quiet and so efficient. Breakfast – just what was required.
Our wedding was held at Cain Manor on 9th July 2021. I can honestly say it was the best day of my life in the most beautiful venue. The wedding planning team were second to none in the run up to the big day answering a myriad of questions with such efficiency and speed. Then the staff on the day surpassed all our expectations. From Dean and Antonio, the managers, to Emma who just checked in on my every need throughout the day. And as for the food, it is top end restaurant quality and all our guests commented on it. The venue itself could not be a more beautiful setting and its exclusivity just makes you feel like you are at home with your nearest and dearest. It is so intimate, discreet and magical. Like all brides, I had huge expectations for the day and I wouldn't change a thing. Says it all.
Everyone we dealt with during our time at Cain Manor was excellent, and in particular Dean and Emma – nothing was too much trouble. Thanks to the online planner we were able to provide all our instructions ahead of time and then after leaving our extra decorations with the team were able to relax ahead of our big day. Everything we'd requested was carried out to the letter by the team, and the service was faultless throughout. As well as the appearance of the venue many of our guests also complimented the food – it's amongst some of the best we've had, and as well as the beautiful surroundings made our day memorable. They do say people remember what they eat at a wedding and I think us and our guests certainly will! Whilst this isn't a cheap venue to hire in my opinion you get what you pay for, and Cain Manor was worth every penny. We'd do it all again tomorrow if we could…. Thank you again for an amazing day!
