History
The Wake family has been at Courteenhall since 1672 and farming since then. The original manor house was built in 1577, but was replaced by Sir William Wake, the ninth baronet, in 1792 with the Hall still standing today. It is an exquisite Georgian house which has barely changed in its appearance and retains its authentic features. Still the home of the Wake family, Courteenhall has hosted many an exquisite wedding, as well as hosting clients such as Aston Martin.
