  Could not recommend East Mersea Hall enough! The venue is beyond beautiful, the service is incredible and the staff are some of the loveliest, most helpful people! We had our day on the 14th May and it was magical! Our wedding manager Anneka went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly and we didn't have to worry about a thing!

  Not sure where to begin. Firstly with what a spectacularly beautiful place East Mersea Hall is. Every attention to detail from the moment you arrive in their enchanting car park. The bridal suite with the dressing room and mirrors akin to a salon. The ante room where you feel part of a family when meeting the registrars. The ceremony room which is intimate and beautiful. The patio and lake. Oh what a backdrop. Finally the reception room with a full sided view of the lake, comfortable chairs, well-stocked good size bar and fabulous toilets with a big mirror in the ladies (can't speak for the men's). Add all this to the perfect wedding team. Kirsty and Anneka have it all sewn up. There isn't single thing I could fault. Anneka is the perfect hostess. Nothing is too much trouble and everything runs like clockwork. The food is spectacular. All of our guests agreed. If you are considering getting married, you would be a fool to chose anywhere else.

  We had an absolutely amazing day at East Mersea Hall. We honestly could not have asked for anything more.   We had the best day of our lives, literally! East Mersea Hall is such a stunning venue with a beautiful lake. We partly chose this venue due to the fact that it's so lovely already it didn't need much decorating! All of the staff were brilliant from viewing the venue, through the planning and to the end. Gill made us feel relaxed knowing she was helping our wedding day go smoothly and it was a joy to have her involved. The staff serving our food were uplifting and well mannered.   What's not to love! Beautiful venue, lovely staff, great food, all the facilities you could need = all adding up to the best wedding you could ask for
  
  The lead up to our wedding was managed fantastically by the team, every step of the way, especially Anneka. Due to a family bereavement just weeks before our wedding, things weren't quite as planned for us in the weeks leading up to our big day - Anneka couldn't have been more helpful, supportive and kind.
  
  Literally couldn't recommend this place more highly if you want a gorgeous venue that cares about making your day the very best it can be!

  We were fortunate enough to get married at this stunning wedding venue on Saturday 18/03/2023 and it was absolutely the best thing we have even done! All the team at East Mersea Hall Wedding and Events Venue are so so good at what they do! They are the most helpful team I have ever met, especially Anneka who absolutely made our day! We couldn't have asked for a better wedding coordinator. She was absolutely amazing in all the planning and so so helpful on the day too! All the suppliers also said how amazing she was and that they had never seen a wedding coordinator help the bride so much on the day! Forever grateful! It's safe to say we chose the best wedding venue and I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to get married not only for the amazing people but the stunning views, it really is a venue that has it all!

  Myself & my new Husband got married at East Mersea hall on the 19th of November 2022.
  
  We viewed in February of the same year, and I knew the second I saw the beautiful grounds that was where we would get married. In fact it was the only venue we viewed.
  
  During the lead up to the wedding the team were organised, efficient and nothing was too much trouble.
  
  Our actual day ran like clockwork. I had so little to do besides enjoy our day. The team took charge of everything - however big or small. The food and service was second to none & we had so many compliments on choice of food as we had the bbq. Every member of staff were kind, courteous and polite. And the grounds speak for themselves, they made for an incredibly beautiful back drop to our Autumn wedding.
  
  I can't recommend the venue enough, Anneka, Kirsty & their team are absolute professionals at what they do and when I say they are cool calm and collected every step of the way I really mean it. Which is exactly what you need on your wedding day!
  
  Thank-you so much for making my wedding vision come alive - our whole day was like a fairytale. A real dream come true

  Went here as a guest and I can honestly say I had my breath taken away by the beauty of the venue. Medium sized boating lake in the middle, fields and woods to the far side and lovely timberframed buildings. I would love for more excuses to come back

  We got married at East Mersea hall on 24/09/22. We can truly not rate this venue enough!! Anneka was absolutely amazing with sorting everything, replying to emails and making sure everything ran smoothly. The staff on the day were amazing, the venue was kept clean and tidy and everything ran smoothly. We have had a lot of guests mention how nice the staff were and how lovely the venue was. The food was beautiful and very well presented we had lots of comments of how lovely it was. We can't thank Anneka and the staff enough for our amazing day. We truly have memories that will last forever. Thank you All xx

  Kirsty and Anneka at East Mersea Hall were the perfect wedding planners we could have hoped for.
  
  3 years waiting to be married and it definitely was worth the wait.
  
  ALL of our guests were saying how wonderful the venue is. They couldn't believe how we had found a place with the setting it has, how nice the reception/ disco was and how good the food was. So much food!!!
  
  Thank you all so much for making our day run so smoothly. We definitely couldn't have done it without you both.

  Me and my wife recently celebrated our wedding at East Mersea Hall, and it really was the perfect venue for our wedding.
  
  We booked the venue in the height of covid without even being able to visit the venue, but this risk paid off massively.
  
  Anneka, Kirsty and the team really went above and beyond to ensure every last detail of our wedding went to plan.
  
  The whole process of wedding planning was completely smooth with Anneka happy to accommodate any request for our wedding, with many of our guests commenting how wonderful the venue and whole day was.
  
  I would not hesitate in an instant to book this venue again. Thanks again to East Mersea Hall for hosting our wedding!

  We booked our wedding at East Mersea Hall over 2 1/2 years ago… We were so impressed with Kirsty, her vision and passion we booked immediately. Our wedding was then postponed once and we then moved to 2022.
  We finally got married in July and I can say that it was absolute perfection. East Mersea Hall is the MOST stunning venue. We had a tipi in the secret garden and our wedding day was a dream from start to finish.
  Kirsty and the team made everything run so smoothly and seamlessly and made sure that my husband and I really enjoyed our day.
  Everyone thought we were crazy organising a wedding with 3 little kids, but it was a joy from start to finish and you all made it so easy.
  The food was out of this world and our guests were really blown away by how amazing it was.
  From the meetings, to the tastings and constant reassurance and care, I cannot recommend Kirsty and her team enough. Thank you for helping us to have the most amazing celebration and tying the knot at East Mersea Hall was the best decision we made and has been he perfect way to celebrate becoming Mr & Mrs xxx

  Not only how amazingly beautiful this wedding venue is, it is also filled with the nicest, kindest and most helpful team. From start to finish they went above and beyond for us, so that our wedding day was special.
  Anneka was amazing and any questions we had or anything we wanted she made it happened. Even to the point of personally drying the boat out so we could get in it.
  The food was amazing and there was plenty of it.

  East Mersea Hall was absolutely perfect. We fell in love with it instantly when we looked around, and Mersea itself was a special place for us as we spent a lot of time there when we started dating. It really is a gem. The grounds are stunning and our guests were constantly talking about it for days afterwards. The water lillies were in bloom and the grounds were perfect for guests to mingle and provided many beautiful photo opportunities. The staff took great care of us and our guests throughout the day and helped keep us organised. Anneka our organiser was great, especially in the lead up to the wedding helping advise us on what needed to be done and adapting to last minute changes. We were thrilled to find a venue that would allow our dog there for the ceremony and reception drinks too.
  I cannot stress enough how much we loved our day and it will be the best of memories for years to come.

  We got married at East Mersea Hall on 27th August 2022 and it was a perfect, magical day. From our initial enquiry, Anneka and Kirsty were professional. obliging, responsive and all you could ask for. The day itself ran smoothly, the food and service was incredible and the venue itself was just beautiful. We had our ceremony in the garden and the wedding breakfast and evening in the Pavilion, all of our guests said it was a fantastic wedding. The bridal suite for getting ready in and our overnight stay was fantastic and the breakfast basket the next morning was a nice touch. Thank you all so much for a truly wonderful day. Gail and Sax.

  We cannot thank Kirsty, Anneka, and the team enough for making our wedding day such a great memory. After postponing twice due to Covid, we finally got to tie the knot in August this year, allowing family and friends from around the world to come and celebrate with us, which we are very grateful to Kirsty for.
  Anneka was an absolute god-send, smoothing out all the kinks and crinkles and soothing any worries all the way through the planning right up to and throughout the day.
  The venue is stunning with lots of great places for a wide range of photo styles, all of our guests greatly complimented the beauty of it and our photographer had a field day exploring!
  The catering team was excellent, we had a vegan wedding and our guests loved the menu choices, the care taken, and taste! The options for evening food were fantastic too, again we received lovely compliments from our guests.
  Overall we couldn't have had any more of a perfect day. We would rate the place and the staff higher if we could.

  We had the most wonderful wedding from before the big day to the end of the day everything was spot on!
  
  Anneka will make sure everything runs like clockwork, whilst the venue and the grounds speak for themselves!   As soon as we saw this venue we fell in love with it. We made an appointment to view the grounds, which we done and then booked it straight away. We didn't even look at any other venues. It was just everything and more. Anneka and Kirsty were absolutely amazing and made our day so special. They took care of everything, there was constant communication, Anneka helped me with all the planning as I didn't have a clue. There was just nothing that we could have added into this day, everything was already taken care of. The grounds are absolutely stunning, we had a woodland wedding which was incredible. The bbq food was so delicious too. You will not be disappointed with this venue or the staff, truly fantastic.

  We had an amazing wedding at East Mersea Hall, despite the weather not being on our side. The cermony was very personal to us and it was in a beautiful setting inside and everyone commented how cosy it was and what a great atomsphere. The staff were amazing as was Anneka our wedding co-ordinator who we had a great repore with. Everything was perfect and alot of guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to!!
  If i could do it all over again i would, such a special day

  Attended this place as part of a wedding party and from what I saw it is a beautiful place to get hitched and an amazing atmosphere for the evening reception. I can't speak for the prices for hiring but from what I understand it is very reasonable (the bar prices weren't spiteful either) and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Only (and minor issue in my opinion) it is quite a long way away from anywhere so be sure to bring anything with you that you might need (cigarettes etc) as the nearest convenience shop is a 15/20 minute drive away. There may be a shop on the nearby campsite (Coopers Beach) but I believe you have to be a member to go on

  24.07.2021 - the best day of our life!
  
  Kirsty and team have been incredible this last year, with the lockdowns and postponements I cannot thank Kirsty enough for the love, care and reassurance she gave us over one of the most stressful year.
  
  Having to postpone due to the pandemic was never going to be easy but knowing Kirsty was there made things run as smoothly as it could, there was times we both felt like throwing in the towel and canceling but after a quick phone call with Kirsty and listening to her positive thinking the excitement in our belly's was back.
  
  Her and her team was absolutely faultless throughout the whole process from booking the wedding until the last drink was served.
  
  The grounds are stunning, the staff are wonderful. I have been to lots of wedding venues as a makeup artist but this is most beautiful wedding venue of them all!
  
  EVERYTHING ran so smoothly and it was honestly the best day of our life.

  East Mersea Hall is a gorgeous venue! The children had hours of fun on the huge swing and as the sun goes down, the tree wrapped fairy lights and the lovely lamps that circle the pond look magical x
