History
The original house dates back to the 1760s and it's said that the property was uninhabited until the mid-19th century. In the 1870's the property was extended and transformed into a Gamekeepers house and was then purchased by Mr Hermann Schurhoff who converted the house into a hunting lodge.
Throughout the 1900s, many other features were added to the house and at the turn of the 21st century, the house began operating as a bed and breakfast. In 2004, Mr and Mrs Hogarth bought the property and developed it into the lovely hotel you see today.
