Insight Activities is owned by Ken Cosgrave who delivers the daring outdoor pursuits. With over 17 years of experience as a freelance instructor and technical consultant in the outdoor industry. Patient and encouraging, Ken always seeks to support participants, aiding both personal and professional development.
You will begin with an introduction to Archery, before having a go at Axe Throwing and the Rifle Crossbow range simultaneously. You're then free to move between activities - Shoot at Zombies with the Rifle Crossbow, or throw Battle Axes, with lots of laughs to be expected!
2.5 hour session - £30.00 per person
Start training on the bows, before moving on to both the Rifle Crossbow and Axe Throwing, with the final hour consisting of Archery Combat Tag games such as 'Hunt the Stag', 'Capture the Flag' and 'Defend the Area', plus more that is kept secret until the day.
3 hour session - £35.00 per person
Begin by testing your archery skills, then try your hand at throwing a few battle axes, before moving on to shooting at Zombies with crossbows. Have a go at what you like, before the Arch Combat games begin! – including 'Back to Back Duelling' and 'Team Death Match'.
2.5 hour session - £30.00 per person
Try your hand at the medieval art of Axe Throwing and test out the Rifle Crossbows, which you can continue to enjoy at your leisure. You will then receive your next mission, to build a catapult capable of 'Sieging the Castle' - construct, refine and shoot, with points awarded for destroying the Castle!
3 hour session - £35.00 per person
Test your skills over 3 shooting ranges. Archery, Crossbows and Axe Throwing are each arranged in a semi-circle for inclusivity amongst groups. Whilst the two sites are based in the Dorset and the New Forest, Insight Activities can travel within a 70-mile radius of each site, allowing these awesome activities to come to you!
All-inclusive the activities can keep groups of up to 24 people continuously active, so you won't be found waiting around here. Other outdoor activities include bush-craft survival, wild food foraging, wild snake walks and outdoor climbing in Dorset. Food is available to pre-order in advance of your stag or hen activities in either the New Forest or Torpuddle, Dorset. All catering is locally sourced and made in house to order.

We had a great time yesterday as part of my sons stag do. Great relaxed tuition from Ken & loads of time to try out the archery, cross bows and knife throwing. All hidden away in a quiet part of the forest. Thoroughly recommend a visit.
Ken was brilliant at showing us how to use the archery bows, crossbows and axe throwing. Once we knew this and the safety precautions, we could choose which activity we wanted to do, Ken was always at hand to assist us if we needed it. Would definitely book this session again.
