For Kate Burt, baking really is a way of life. Making cakes was always her firm favourite for Saturday nights as a child, and in more recent years, the 're-discovery' of her passion began just six years ago. Whilst living in Australia, Kate was tasked with creating a birthday cake for her firstborn, and it was here she became hooked on the intricacies of making the perfect bake.

Not satisfied just creating delicious cakes, Kate quickly took to mastering sugarcraft, for which skills she is exceedingly gifted!

The level of detail that goes into the decoration of these cakes is outstanding, with incredible little sugarcraft items, including flowers or butterflies, edible brooches and ribbons.
