Once a family's mansion, Mannings Heath is now a magnificent timbered clubhouse. The 500 acre estate includes plenty for golfing enthusiasts (there is a championship 18-hole golf course, a smaller 9-hole and a driving range) as well as a vineyard and an impressive lake. These great grounds are easily traversable by golf buggy, so you have plenty of options for those all important wedding photographs.

Part of the Benguela Collection, Mannings is twinned with a vineyard in South Africa, from which many interesting wines come. This, paired with food provided by a talented in-house team, turns an already excellent estate into a dreamy wedding venue.

Facilities

The historic clubhouse has a variety of rooms perfect for a wedding celebration.

Tie the knot in either the spacious Latilla Campbell suite or the more intimate Goldings Room. Both of these rooms boast plenty of natural light to make your photographs truly shine.

You can then enjoy a wonderful wedding breakfast in the clubhouse's Vineyard Kitchen, cooked by a talented team headed up by a chef who has cooked in several Michelin star restaurants.

Finally, dance the night away in the Lounge Bar with up to 150 of your nearest and dearest, taking in the atmosphere of the old family mansion.

Catering

Being a vineyard, it is no surprise that Mannings Heath prides itself on its food and drink. Their Executive Head Chef has created a delicious sample menu to help celebrate your union at your wedding breakfast. Using high quality ingredients, sample dishes include:

Starters

Spinach, rocket and water cress soup with crème fraiche
Springs smoked salmon, Lilliput capers, shallot, dill and sorrel
Prime slices of smoked duck with a pea and broad bean salad with toasted pine nuts and raspberry vinaigrette

Mains

Fillet of salmon, oriental rice noodle salad, pak choi with a sweet soy and ginger dressing
Gnocchi, cauliflower cheese and forest mushroom mousse
Asparagus soufflé with root vegetable gratin and cranberry compote
Pan roast Lamb rump, dauphinoise potatoes, stem broccoli and minted jus
Pan roast fillet of Herefordshire beef, confit purple carrot with anise, fondant potato and Benguela Cove cabernet sauvignon jus (£4 supplement)

Desserts

Chocolate panna cotta with strawberry granite and brandy crisps
Bilberry and basil frangipane tart
Mango, strawberry tart with a hint of chilli and coconut sorbet

Of course, the wine choice is fantastic. The Benguela Collection includes a wine estate in South Africa, which much of the wine served at Mannings Heath comes from. The team will be able to guide you as to which wine pairings you should serve, and you can even attend a wine tasting event at the estate. Mannings Heath aims to produce a phenomenal English sparkling wine in the next few years for a truly local tipple.

Accommodation

On the grounds, Fuller's Cottage is a quaint 17th century cottage restored with modern luxuries. With four bedrooms, there is enough room for closest friends and family the nights before and after the wedding. There is even a private garden to make the most of the beautiful outdoor space whilst remaining secluded.
