If you desire your wedding vows to be a true reflection of you and your partner then getting married with a professional celebrant is the one for you.

No matter your moral and spiritual beliefs, Nick is passionate about providing an emotional service that has plenty of the brides and grooms personality and clearly demonstrates their values.

After conducting a range of ceremonies on his own, Nick took part in his first training session with the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants in 2011.

He has since conducted all kinds of weddings from woodland, seashore and stone-circle settings through to hotel and country house events - with guests numbering from as few as a dozen to as many as five hundred!

The Service

An initial meeting either in person or by Skype is complimentary and brides and grooms the chance to explore some of the options and discuss a basic plan for their ceremony service.

If you choose to go ahead with Nick then he will write the first draft of a ceremony uniquely for you. This can then be changed, refined and generally re-arranged until you are happy that you're getting the wedding ceremony you really want.

Should you need help with creating your own vows, advice on rings (Nick has one or two very special suggestions for these!) or suggestions for other components you might like to include, then he is more than happy to help.

Nick will also give you suggestions on additional elements that you may want to add such as historical handfasting, sand ceremonies and 'jumping the broom' - all dating back to ancient marriage ceremonies.

Nick has also performed less common but still symbolic marriage ceremonies including the elements of flowers, fire, wine, obsidian, incense and feathers. No matter how unusual you want your wedding to be - Nick can offer a variety of options.

The Ceremony

Nick's service includes as many meetings as may be needed, whatever re-writes you may want, a non-site rehearsal and - of course - delivery of the ceremony on the day. This is all for a fixed fee which will be decided at or shortly after the initial meeting.

Approximately, Nick's wedding ceremonies cost between £500-600.

Nick offers the choice to create CD sound recordings of your special day and have presentation bound copies.

Nick is more than happy to act as a celebrant for same sex weddings.
