  • Mr and Mrs Luck

The beauty, history and atmosphere of The Shuttleworth Estate has always made it a special place for us; choosing the House for our wedding was the best decision we ever made.

Every guest has said it's the best wedding they've ever been to, our bridesmaid even said it was the best day she'd ever had! We love good food and booze and we always want to have fun, so our wedding had to emulate that. We had 70 for the wedding breakfast and the food was simply stunning, combined with the new wine list it couldn't have been better. The service was perfect and you never had to look far if you wanted to ask for anything.

Adam had been brilliant at thorough organisation, making sure we had timings to work to throughout the day and keeping our MC informed, so it ran so smoothly but effortlessly. To have such stunning surroundings, yet to feel so relaxed is something I never expected. The layout made it perfect for all guests to enjoy the evening, whether it was dancing to the band or DJ, drinking at the bar, chilling in the Saloon, singing by the piano or enjoying the views outside. We couldn't have planned that if we tried!

We never quite understood how it could be the best day of your lives, but the team at the House really did make it a wedding that everyone is still talking about.

All of our guests have said how beautiful the house is and how well kept it is! They thought the paintings where lovely and the items in the entrance hall were really interesting. They enjoyed having the seating by the windows as they could see what was going on outside with our photos.

The guests that stayed over said the rooms were beautiful. The breakfast was absolutely delicious! Really well cooked and lots of it too!

All in all it was a fab experience from start to finish and everything went perfectly. Antony and I had the best day ever! Everyone has said what a beautiful venue it was and they aren't wrong.
