About
The name, Sylvia's Kitchen, was inspired by and takes its name from owner Liz's mother, Sylvia. As a child, Liz's keen interest in baking and sugarcraft was fostered by her mother, and as an adult, Liz went on to complete a diploma course in sugarcraft to enhance her skills.
She went on to bake wedding cakes for friends and family, taking inspiration from her mother all the while. Liz has been baking professionally for ten years and prides herself on her creativity and attention to detail.
