One of Buckinghamshire's finest and most romantic wedding venues, Taplow House Hotel's beautiful Georgian Country House, sweeping grounds and award winning cuisine are guaranteed to give you a wedding day that you will remember forever.

The house that stands today was built in 1751, although it has been altered throughout the years, most of the original house still stands. In records, the house that stood before this one had burned down, and in fact, you can see some of the scorch marks in the house's cellar.

A lot of historical figures have visited the house including Queen Elizabeth I and Oscar Wilde.

Facilities

The house has a beautiful selection of rooms licenced to hold civil ceremonies. The rooms have beautiful period features and charm including chandeliers and feature ceilings. The house can hold ceremonies for up to 100 guests.

If you want to say your vows in a traditional, religious building, the pretty St Nicholas church is a five-minute walk away in the village of Taplow.

Catering

With award-winning dining, the chefs at Taplow House create menus with local produce in mind. Their dishes use ingredients that are locally sourced. Their menus consist of traditional dishes with a modern twist, to make your day that extra bit special.

Accommodation

The hotel offers a choice of 32 bedrooms, suites and one master suite. Each room is individually designed to reflect the period of the house. All rooms are equipped with modern amenities and are offered at a reduced rate for your guests.

Packages

The experienced team at Taplow have put together three packages, starting at 7,000 and aimed to make you day run smoothly. There are also options to create more bespoke packages, for marquee weddings or intimate weddings.

On Saturday 10th November 2018 you have the chance to sample canapés, down bubbly and meet the local suppliers - most of which will come prepared with free samples and exclusive offers.
