Meet the Quartet
This classical ensemble is a multi-talented and experienced group with a number of accolades and impressive associations. Meet Andrew Barrington, whose elegant bow-work upon the violin has seen him working with many clients such as the BBC and Channel 4. He studied at Trinity College of Music in London and then the Royal Welsh College of Music in Cardiff - and currently teaches violin whilst not playing for the Bristol String Quartet.
Sue Lord's delicate and dignified technique on the viola has put her in high demand as a session musician, working with a variety of contemporary artists such as Rose Kemp, Jim Moray, Jane Taylor and Rob Bray.
On the 'cello is Kate Robey, who studied at Bath Spa University with Ruth Zagni, and at the Royal Welsh College of Music with Richard May. Kate regularly plays with the Bath Philharmonic Orchestra and has toured China with the Amadeus Orchestra.
Tamsin Winchester is the ensemble's second violinist, and she also studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music whilst playing in the Bute String Quartet and the BBC National Orchestra of Wales.
