  Our guests were both surprised and delighted by the Carousel and Gallopers and the delight didn't end there. The Marquee looked stunning, the gardens were perfect and as the day passed the twinkling fairy lights that illuminated the grounds completed that magical feel.
  
  Several guests also remarked how pleased they were to be surprised by the €œreveal" of a whole dance-floor with band as they'd expected to be asked to clear tables away as they had at previous weddings. A special thanks are owed to Charlie and his staff who carried out our wishes efficiently and with charm and good humour. Nothing was too much trouble and it was so reassuring to have Charlie's attention throughout, not overbearing, just there which mean't we as hosts were able
  to relax and enjoy the day as much as our guests.
  
  As a near neighbour we look forward to seeing Thursford grow as an inevitable venue of choice for weddings in the future, we feel privileged to be one of the first.

  Not only is the Garden Pavilion set in stunning surroundings with lovely photo backdrops, but the attentive nature of the staff ensured our special day went smoothly. Having Charlie's cheery responses and attentive nature helped both on the day and in the lead up.
  Nothing was too much trouble and having the freedom to decorate the pavilion as we wished meant my copious lengths of bunting could be hung beautifully. The large dance floor allowed guests to party with the band, while the directional sound system allowed those who wished, to talk without interruption. The perfect balance. We are privileged to have been 'Wedding 1' and see the Pavilion develop into the wonderful wedding reception it is.

  Just want to say a big thank you to yourself and your staff for helping to make Andrew and Tina's wedding day so special last Saturday. From the moment we booked the venue with you nothing was too much trouble for you and on the day it was absolutely perfect. A wonderful wonderful day. So many people have been in contact with me to say how much they enjoyed themselves. I thought the Barn looked beautiful for the ceremony and as we walked out afterwards to the sounds of the organs playing it was magical. I have never seen so many happy smiling faces as I did of the guests in all their finery riding the Gondola and Carousel.The Pavilion was perfect for the large number of guests that we had and with sixteen tables we still had such a lot of space. How magical did it look outside in the evening with the lights in the trees.
  The final surprise for everybody was when the curtains opened for Tina and Andrew's first dance.
  I think I speak for everybody when I say we had a truly wonderful, amazing and happy day

  Thursford is a new and exciting venue and it was able to offer us what we wanted which was a mixture of the old with the new. So much care has been put into this new location for weddings that at times we had to pinch ourselves to make sure that we were not dreaming.
  Charlie was top notch and kept us on our toes during the planning part of the wedding and on the day of the wedding nothing was too much trouble for him and he made our guests feel welcome and comfortable. The guests were entertained by the rides on the gondola and carousel and by the slick service of the drinks after the ceremony. We were made to feel like one of the Cushing family which made the whole process so much easier as we felt that we could call up and ask any questions and this helped to reduce the pressure and stress of planning our wedding. In short this is a truly unique venue with so many unique photo opportunities and it will have your guests talking about your wedding for weeks and weeks afterwards.
