About

Two Temple Place

Two Temple Place is a hidden gem of Victorian architecture and design, and one of London's best-kept secrets. Commissioned by William Waldorf Astor for his London office and pied-a-terre in 1895, this fully-licensed, riverside mansion is now one of London's most intriguing and elegant wedding venues. All funds generated from the hire of Two Temple Place support the philanthropic mission of The Bulldog Trust, registered charity 1123081.

Facilities

The Lower Gallery

With its ornate high ceilings, rich wooden panelling and dappled sunlight, the Lower Gallery is a firm favourite with couples looking to marry in luxury.

Alternatively, the Lower Gallery is also a fanciful spot for that first glass of celebratory champagne after a church service. Located on the ground floor, the space can be used in conjunction with the Courtyard, making for a dreamy summer reception space.

Into the evening, the room can be transformed into a vibrant reception, complete with space for a band or DJ. Party until 4am with a night extension to make the most of every last second.

Ceremony capacity - 120 guests
Reception capacity - 150 guests

The Great Hall

The epitome of opulence and grandeur, the Great Hall is a sight to beyond with its stained-glass windows and striking hammer beam ceiling.

Host your ceremony here, or perhaps a celebratory dinner. The intricate detailing within this room is a nod to its colourful history, from the nine ladies of Arthurian legend and a host of other historical and romantic figures carved, gilded and modelled into this breath-taking space by the finest Victorian craftsmen.

Views span the London riverside skyline, perfect for an elegant and timeless wedding.

Ceremony capacity - 120 guests
Wedding breakfast capacity - 120 guests

The Mahogany Staircase

Adorned with carvings of celebrated literary figures and bathed in natural daylight from the stained-glass canopy overhead, the staircase is Victorian architecture at its finest!

Surrounding the stairs is a unique marble floor with onyx and jasper. Picture yourself gliding down the stairs and posing for a true loves kiss at the bottom. The impressive staircase lends itself perfectly to any wedding season, and looks equally impressive dressed with seasonal garlands, summer florals through to winter woodland delights.

Standing reception capacity - 40 guests
