Wilkswood Wedding Venue presents a unique opportunity for a fantastic celebration. You will have the freedom to host either a lavish wedding on a grand scale, or a closer, more intimate one for family and friends. Start with a blank canvas of one beautiful marquee and add to this with hay bales, fire pits, additional tents, glamping, a blessing area, and you've built your own dream wedding!
Come British rain or glorious sunshine, the marquee will keep you protected as you'll be able to view the stunning Purbeck Hills. Barbecue or sit-down meal, with blessing or as reception only, fairytale elegance or festival style, you can find it all at Wilkswood.
The idea of hosting an outdoor, marquee-based wedding reception might be enough to instil terror into the hearts of some couples. However, these guys are thoroughly experienced and as such have thought of everything, ensuring your day runs as smoothly as possible! Every wedding whim and wish can be catered for, leaving no stone unturned to make your day as perfect as can be.
Although Wilkswood Wedding Venue is essentially an outdoor facility, you needn't harbour any qualms about them skimping on facilities. You will find:
There are hotels in close proximity, but why not save your guests having to arrange a cab and suggest they book their very own tent on-site for the full glamping experience! Tents are available sleeping from 2-6, ranging from unfurnished to furnished with a low table, rugs, mirror, fairy lights, bunting, lamp, welcome matt, and external solar lights. There's even a bride and groom tent available for the newlyweds on their wedding night with a four poster bed, a real mattress and plush bedding. You even have the option for guests to bring their own tent to pitch, plus you can book breakfast hampers!
