Tipis are what make World Inspired Tents tick; a strong design based on the traditional tipis of the Native Americans, and the kåta of the Sami people.

How the creators of this fascinating company fell into the industry is a story of a chance meeting: business owners Donna and Ed came across some excellent examples of tipis at a country fair and fell in love!

Both having plenty of experience working for other, larger companies, the time was right for them to go it on their own. Seeing a niche in the local market with hiring out these fantastic modular tipis, they set up World Inspired Tents back in 2007, and now with 8 years' experience behind them, they have a hugely capable setup.

The Tents

World Inspired Tents provide modular tipis, which consists of a group of individual 'super-sized' tipis with connecting sections, all covered with modern weatherproof fabric. The practicality of this configuration as opposed to a normal one-structure marquee means that you can have one section for your sit down meal, another for the dancefloor, one for the bar or a 'chill out area' if you wish! You can walk freely between each stylish section.

The Giant Hat

This form of tipi is the backbone of World Inspired Tent's fleet, which are able to seat from 70 individually, to up to 1000 if the company's Giant Hats are all combined! Lower the sides in the colder months and raise the sides if it's hot or you want to admire a stunning view.

Cirrus 40

This single, smaller tipi if perfect for linking on to the main Giant Hat structures as a chill-out area, bar or dancefloor. If you are planning a very small wedding, then its ability to seat up to 40 may be of interest to you.

The Little Hat

This cute 5.5m mini-tipi has no sides and is ideal as a catering shelter for hog roasts, BBQs or as a bar/drinks station.

Camping Tipis

Hire some of World Inspired Tent's camping-size tipis to complete a festival wedding. Between 3-6 sleepers per tent. There is also a 10 person tipi available.

Interiors and Service

World Inspired Tents can offer a wide range of high-quality items, furniture and decorations to complete the look of the interior.

Furniture

Solid pine tables, long benches, banquet tables and solid wood chairs can be provided. Wooden bars, dancefloors, stages for musicians, cake tables and even open log fireplaces are also on offer.

Lighting

Fairy light sets and drapes, festoon lighting, candle-lit lanterns, disco balls, stage lighting and outdoor flood lights.

Decoration

World Inspired Tents often work with a couple's chosen venue stylist or decorator to help finish off the look of the tipi!

Site Inspection and Delivery

The company offer a free site inspection and measurement. The team will draw up a bespoke quote and are more than willing to work to specific budgets – best get in touch and talk your plans through. Set-up and take down is included with hire costs, but delivery price depends on your distance they have to travel from either their Bristol base (Iron Acton) or Barnstaple to your wedding.
