About
Worstead Park, originally owned by Sir John Berney of Westwick in the 16th century, holds a rich history. In 1956, James acquired the adjacent farmland, including the parkland. An intriguing rumour suggests that James successfully defended against a late bid by a member of the royal family. For 60 years, the park remained mostly untouched and was never accessible to the public. However, now it is open for all to enjoy.
