Chapel 1877 is a beautiful fairy-tale chapel; the perfect place to hold your dream wedding. Constructed in 1877, the Grade II-listed chapel is French-Italian gothic themed which was updated in 2008 so that it could be used as a luxury restaurant and ceremony venue.
The venue is bursting with natural light and has two different rooms where you can host your evening reception. The chapel is suitable for up to 100 guests for both the ceremony and reception.
Why not say your "I do's" in their luxury Upper Floor Gallery which is complete with Cwtch booths and an Oriel area. AddressI recently attended a wedding at the Chapel 1877 and it was an absolutely perfect venue. I know the bride mentioned how helpful the team were behind the scenes in planning, and providing last minute details when plans were changed etc.
The staff seemed wonderful and attentive, to the point of even discreetly showing me where to balance my bubbly while I was taking a toast!
The food was amazing and everyone commented on what a special venue it was for such a special day. Thank you.
I had my Wedding at The Chapel 1877 and Agi the Wedding Coordinator was absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for her, she was friendly, understanding and genuinely excited for us. It was only an intimate wedding with 12 people including myself and my husband. It was wonderful; the day went without fault, everything was taken care of by Agi and the team, even with my request of mocktails instead of Champagne and an Afternoon Tea instead of the usual dinner for guests. She dressed my wedding table very well. My theme was Vampire Gothic and she made everything look exactly how I had imagined it. The food was delicious and I could not have asked for more on my wedding day. They went over and above to make my day as special as possible!
I have to say that we were a little nervous initially handing the reigns over to complete strangers for the planning and organising of our wedding but from the start to the finish the wedding planning team were fantastic. Thank you to Richard but especially Agi. You and your whole team of staff at The Chapel were brilliant. I'm hardly a 'bridezilla' and showed on occasion, apathy towards the meticulous planning of table decorations and flower arrangements. The food was outstanding. This was the opinion not just of the groom and I but the whole wedding party. Everything went according to plan and the whole day went smoothly. Shame after all the planning as it passed so very quickly. I can not recommend Chapel 1877 enough. If there is ever a venue required for parties or weddings this place has to be considered. Thank you once again! We are planning our next visit already!

The wedding was fab, everything went as planned. The Chapel was brilliant in all ways and the chef was amazing. The setting in the balcony area was stunning and having the area to ourselves made it extra special.
