Furtho Manor is a family run working sheep and arable farm. The current buildings date back to the medieval period, including the Church and Dovecote, some changing as farming practises modernised or to create spaces for new activities, such as your wedding!

Facilities

Furtho Manor is able to host weddings outside anywhere in the field next to the barn as well as down by the lake under the gazebo. Perhaps you wish to wed outdoors, down on the lake under their gazebo, surrounding by aqua blue water illuminating the smiles of your loved ones. Or if you fancy something a little warmer with insulated roof and heaters, you could wed in their ceremony room, a simple room with white walls awaiting your unique decorations. And of course the star of the show is the Barn; packed with charm and character. The barn is also perfect for wedding breakfasts and evening celebrations.

Church and Dovecote

The Church and Dovecote are the remaining buildings from the medieval village of Furtho. The Dovecote is truly magical; the stone walls and domed roof create an enchanting atmosphere. Meanwhile the Church is now redundant but can be used for blessings, with candelabras made by the owners father for a romantic candlelit service.

Catering

Furtho Manor have a list of trusted and recommended caterers who are all ready and raring to go! The possibilities are endless when it comes to your wedding cuisine, so sit back and relax; you are in safe hands. If you have a specific caterer in mind then you are welcome to bring them with you, flexibility is key!

Hire Information

Furtho Manor host wedding receptions twice a week, usually on a Tuesday and a Saturday. However, there are other days available during bank holidays or the Christmas period. Intimate and Christmas weddings are also available.

For weddings that take place on a Saturday, Furtho Manor will allow you to set up from the Thursday before and request that everything is cleaned away by midday in the Sunday. For Tuesday weddings you are given the Monday to set up and the Wednesday to clear away.

Accommodation

You are spoilt for choice with accommodation as Furtho Manor also doubles up as a bed & breakfast. You're guaranteed your forty winks and delicious food. The Farmhouse has three bed and breakfast rooms for everyone; doubles, twins or family rooms. The Lodge is a single storey property besides the main building with a further two double rooms with the option for additional beds if needed. Don't worry, in the morning you can all gather in The Farmhouse for a wonderful breakfast and reminisce about your beautiful wedding day.
