Glemham Hall

This romantic and historic hall surrounded by 300 acres of picturesque estate, offers incredible opportunities for indoor, outdoor and church weddings. With stunning rooms inside, you can host a regal affair.

This wonderful venue can host a maximum of 200 for an evening reception and a minimum of fifty - leaving you plenty to play around with. With the option of four different caterers, your wedding can be tailored to you.

About

The 16th Century family home was founded near the outskirts of the charming village of Little Glemham. The Hall was first built in the 15 hundreds, owned by the Glemham family who have a history that intertwines with Tudor nobility; unfortunately a twist in their circumstances forced them to sell the house in 1709. The house is now owned by Major Philip Hope-Cobbold.

The estate boasts 3000 acres, including a working farm, garden theatre and, of course, the Hall's lavish gardens. The gardens have been redesigned over time, most significantly in 1791 and currently host a lily-pond, walled rose garden and commemorative Britten garden.

If you're looking for an outdoors wedding, The Summerhouse, with its border of lavender and rose is perfect for a romantic, summer or spring wedding.

The Marquee

The permanent marquee offers a fantastic location for your wedding breakfast and reception. The marque is perfect for a white wedding, but its ivory canopy and glass chandeliers also make it serve as a brilliant blank canvas for you to transform as you wish.

Wedding breakfast capacity - 170 guests

Reception capacity - 200 guests

The Church of St Andrew is a five minute walk away through the gardens and is perfect if you are looking for a religious and very traditional ceremony.

    My daughter and son-in-law had a thoroughly glamorous wedding at Glemham Hall last weekend and not only did it surpass their expectations, all guests from 0- 80+ years old enjoyed the grounds and facilities there. I'd especially like to thank Donna for her calm and helpful attitude, nothing phased her or was too much to ask, even the the bride's worst fear of rain coming true was gently overcome by Donna's flexibility and resourcefulness. So much so that the bride now thinks it worked out for the best. Thank you Donna and Glemham Hall, highly recommended.

    Our wedding was everything we wanted it to be! Donna and Victoria were so helpful and reassuring throughout the whole planning process and definitely do the venue proud.
    We were lucky enough to have perfect weather for a summerhouse wedding and the grounds were absolutely stunning. When we were setting up the day before the gardeners were working hard to make sure everything looked amazing and there wasn't a single guest who didn't comment on how beautiful the grounds were. We were out in them pretty much all day and definitely made the most of it. If only we could do it all again, we wouldn't change a thing!
